2025 Side Extension - WGC Building Project

Our building project in Welwyn Garden City consists of demolition to remove an existing single garage and rebuilding a single extension.

We have so far completed works;

  • Removing the existing garage & waste removal from site

  • Due diligence works for the S.E design;

    • Expose existing garage foundation @ 1.5m

    • Expose existing concrete slab

    • Expose existing house foundation for adequate steelwork foundation

      (All confirmed with S.E for re-use where possible)

  • Excavate & C25 concrete foundation to 1.4m

  • Excavate & install new 1m3 soak-away and underground rain water pipework

  • New 1.2m x 1.2m window opening with cavity wall lintel installation

  • 3m Steelwork installation & pier rebuilds

Light has been well considered for this project, with multiple new windows adding duel aspect, a large 2m x 1m flat roof window & patio doors.

The build will open up the downstairs floor plan with doors leading to the patio - as well as adding an additional room & practical space.

Our project hopes to enhance our clients way of life and their way to enjoy the view of their much loved garden…
